Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and address potential risks related to quality issues, implementing strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Oversee planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for quality initiatives, ensuring efficient use of personnel and methods.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy that supports long-term customer satisfaction and organizational objectives, with regular progress reviews.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring effective skill development in areas such as leadership, problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D), compliance procedures, FMEA, quality standards, and phase gate reviews.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, aligning quality requirements to achieve satisfaction and mitigate contractual risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and certifications (e.g., ISO9001, AS9100, ISO13485, and more), preparing the organization for audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with operational leadership to implement and uphold quality processes and metrics, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture focused on quality.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of quality management systems and standards, including ISO9001, AS9100, ISO13485, and others.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing environments, materials, and operational processes.
  • Surface Mount Technology experience, liquid cooling is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to set goals and effectively coordinate resources to achieve quality objectives.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and solving complex issues under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and motivating diverse teams to achieve performance targets.
  • Ability to advocate for and maintain a culture centered on quality and adherence to critical processes.
