Plant Manager
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing operations across multiple yarn production facilities. This role focuses on driving efficiency, controlling costs, ensuring high-quality output, and promoting sustainable practices, all while aligning manufacturing strategies with overall business goals. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in textile manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and supply chain coordination, while maintaining strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Manufacturing Strategy & Operational Excellence

Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing strategy focused on driving efficiency, cost optimization, and innovation.

Implement continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to enhance productivity and streamline operations.

Ensure alignment between manufacturing objectives, business goals, customer requirements, and evolving industry trends.
Production & Process Optimization

Oversee all yarn production activities, ensuring operational targets for quality, efficiency, and cost are consistently met.

Optimize spinning, dyeing, and finishing processes to fulfill both technical specifications and commercial expectations.

Lead the adoption of automation, digital technologies, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to modernize manufacturing operations.
Quality, Compliance & Sustainability

Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, safety, and industry regulations.

Champion sustainability efforts, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and water conservation initiatives.

Maintain rigorous product quality standards to meet customer expectations and market demands.
People Leadership & Talent Development

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing manufacturing team across the facility.

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Partner with HR to develop and implement training programs that build skills and capabilities in textile manufacturing.
Supply Chain & Cost Management

Collaborate with procurement, planning, and logistics teams to enhance raw material sourcing and inventory control.

Manage manufacturing costs, budgets, and capital expenditures to ensure financial discipline and efficiency.

Coordinate closely with R&D and commercial teams to support new product development and market readiness.
Education, Qualifications and Experience – Essential
1. Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Textile Technology, or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 10+ years in manufacturing leadership roles within the yarn or textile industry.
3. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of spinning, dyeing, finishing, and automation in yarn production.
4. Leadership: Proven experience managing large teams, multiple facilities, and complex operations.
5. Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making abilities.
6. Systems: Experience with ERP, SAP and digital manufacturing systems.
Desirable
1. Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt / Black Belt).
2. Experience in sustainable manufacturing practices.
3. Background in international textile markets and supply chain management
